The original CCTV (PTY) Ltd was founded in 1967 and specialized in the rental of surveillance systems to all forms of commerce and industry. Konrad Rohrbeck, the current director, having spent the past 25 years with CCTV, diversified into both sales, rental and leasing of surveillance systems and changed the name in 1997 to CCTV Security Surveillance Gauteng (Pty) Ltd, and has since then opened a division in KZN as well as in the Western Province.
